Great advice. As a humble podcaster myself I can't agree more with your tips. I was asked why I do my podcast and besides the fact that I consider myself as a creator and podcasting is an act of creation, it helps me to create a discipline in my thinking process and to confront my views with others (I usually have 3 guests around a topic). Also, having people listening to you on a regular basis and most importantly reaching out to you and giving you feedback is important and encourages me to continue. However, I think that podcasting is too much of a sit-back experience and that it would benefit from being more interactive and social. I am not talking about a sort of "Clubhouse" audio-experience. For me, CH has nothing to do with podcasting, it's a social audio network for random, ephemeral, and most of the time pretty disappointing chit chats. A good podcast (like any good content) requires preparation, talent, and substance. However, I think there is still room for making the audience more engaged and active.
