This was great. I'd never heard of Cuddihy or the Fox/Lion dichotomy, but it rings true (even if I'm partial to Berlin's foxes). I often say, "elites need to preach what they practice." The reduction in civility accelerated with the illegal discrimination in colleges against hiring Republicans. Won’t get better until there are 30% or more Republican professors at all top colleges.
